The Kraft Linerboard&Top Liner Machine is specialized equipment for producing kraft linerboard and top liner paper.It is primarily used to manufacture packaging boards(e.g.,the outer layer of corrugated boxes),offering high strength and superior burst resistance.
1.Functions&Product Features
Product Types:Produces single-or multi-layer kraft linerboard and top liner paper(high-quality surface layer for corrugated medium).

Raw Materials:Primarily softwood or hardwood kraft pulp(sulfate pulp),partially blended with recycled fiber.
2.Components&Process Flow
This machine is typically a Fourdrinier multi-cylinder paper machine,with the following key processes:
(1)Pulp Preparation System
Pulping,refining,and blending(adjusting pulp ratios).
Virgin pulp for the top layer;recycled pulp may be added to the base/core layers.
(2)Headbox&Forming Section
Multi-layer Headbox:Separates top layer(facing)and base layer pulps to form a multi-ply structure on the wire.
Fourdrinier Former:Dewatering via table rolls and vacuum suction boxes to form a wet web.
(3)Press Section
Multiple press rolls(e.g.,shoe press)enhance dewatering and sheet compactness.
(4)Drying Section
Steam-heated dryer cylinders remove residual moisture,improving strength and flatness.
(5)Surface Treatment
Size Press:Applies starch or chemical coatings to improve water resistance and printability.
Calender:Enhances surface smoothness and gloss.
(6)Winding&Slitting
The winder rolls the finished paper into jumbo reels,which are later slit to required dimensions.
